The ‘factoring’ and ‘confirming’ sector grows 11% in the first quarter, to 63,000 million

The volume of credits managed by companies in the ‘factoring’ and ‘confirming’ sector in Spain exceeded 63,000 million euros in the first three months of the year, which represents an increase of almost 11% compared to the same period last year. previous year, as reported by the Spanish Factoring Association (AEF).

The AEF has explained that the services and benefits offered by ‘factoring’ and ‘confirming’ (advances made and deferrals to the client) are “interesting” in times of economic recession, since small and medium-sized companies can improve their ability to indebtedness, obtain liquidity and insure accounts receivable from a possible default.

The ‘factoring’ and ‘confirming’ sector closed 2022 registering an assignment volume of 257,636 million euros, which is equivalent to an increase of 29.23%, as reported on Wednesday by the Spanish Factoring Association.
