Fernando Moragón: “Israel wants to unleash chaos in Iran and its goal is to end Jamenei”
Follow the tension between Israel and Iran, in a context where there is now talk of a possible objective of Israel to end the Ayatolá Jamenei. Iran is important because it has oil and gas, at a time where the world fights for the control of energy resources, said Fernando Moragón, an expert in geopolitics. Jamenei is the spiritual leader, but below him there is a president of the Iranian government and a parliament that would continue to bring the government afloat.
“Iran is going to win insurance in an exchange war of blows with missiles,” Moragón insisted.
For Russia and China, Iran is a strategic country for many of their interests, “they will not drop him, even if they are not directly involved in the war.”
