An earthquake of magnitude 4.9 remits the city of Iwata and alerts the local population

Japan is again the scene of the force of nature. According to the data of the United States Geological Service (USGS), an earthquake of Magnitude 4.9 shook in the last hours the eastern coast of the country.

The telluric movement was recorded at 23:33, local time, with an epicenter located 61 kilometers south of the city of Iwata, in the Shizuoka Prefecture. It is a town with an approximate population of 88,509 inhabitants. The hypocenter was located at a depth of 10 kilometers, a figure that increases the sensation of surface intensity.

At the moment, there have been no material damage to consideration or victims, although local authorities remain on alert to possible replicas.
