OpenAI has launched a new function that allows users of Chatgpt Save and manage All images generated by artificial intelligence in an integrated library. This tool, available for free accounts, plus and PRO users, both on the web and in mobile applications, facilitates access and organization of Images created only with the GPT-4o model (not with the traditional Dall-e system).
This model, which was integrated into the platform in March 2025, allows generating high quality images based on textual descriptions or images loaded in the conversation. In addition, it offers advanced capabilities such as the edition of images through selection of specific areas and the application of changes described in the chat.
As the company explains on an official website and in an X post, from now on all the images you think with GPT-4O will be automatically stored in your library. Anyway, functionality is being implemented gradually until it reaches all users. Therefore, you still don't see the option in your account.
All of your image Creations, All in One Place.

How to access the library
The library is located in the left sidebar of Chatgpt and shows a grid with all the generated images. From there, users can navigate their creations, edit existing images or generate new using the “Make Image” button.
To eliminate an image of the library, it is necessary to erase the conversation in which it was created. This can be done from the web or mobile application, accessing the corresponding conversation options menu:
On the web: Pass the cursor on the title of the conversation in the sidebar, click on the three points and select “Delete” in the menu.
In a mobile device: You must hold the conversation title and select the “Delete” option in the emerging menu.
